What Will You Accomplish Today?

By tonight, you’ll have a long list of things you did today. You answered emails, made phone calls, attended (endured) meetings and hopefully carved out a little bit of personal time. But what did you really accomplish?

What came out of those emails, phone calls and meetings? What did you launch? What did you finish? What milestones did you hit? What and who did you impact or change? What did you do that will matter in a year or even a month or even next week?

Staying crazy busy, scheduling a packed day and making work is easy, but that’s just another form of procrastination and another barrier to meaningful achievements.

Find one or two things that you can move off your schedule today and use that thirty minutes or an hour to do something meaningful – something you’ll feel good about at the end of today and something you can build on tomorrow.
